A widget is a small, specific application that you can run on your desktop and in some web applications. Widgets make it really easy to get bite-size information from the Internet or your computer such as account information, the weather, cinema guides or just to tell the time.

Orange have started developing useful widgets starting with a “Your Account” widget for Pay As You Go customers to top-up easily.
