The pound has taken a pounding against the Euro – but that doesn’t mean you can’t still have a bargain holiday in the Eurozone

The bods at Skyscanner have released their Top 6 cheap Eurozone destinations, and we’ve looked at what’s really important: the price of flights, accommodation – and beer!

A pint of lager in London will set you back around £3.20 according to PintPrice.com – but just 70p in Slovakia. Now all you need to do is find the cheapest deals on flights and hotels.

1. Slovakia – Pint price: 70p
Explore the compact historic centre of Bratislava on a lively city break or head to the beautiful Tatras Mountains for great-value skiing in winter, and terrific hiking and biking in summer.

2. Slovenia – Pint price: £1.14
Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana, with its dazzling hilltop castle, great museums and atmospheric bars, is a perfect pint-sized city break destination. Head to the majestic Julian Alps for a wealth of outdoor fun.

3. Portugal – Pint price: £1.18
Lisbon, with its immense palaces and castles connected by tiny trams and cobbled streets, is a city full of colour and character. If it’s sunshine and watersports you’re after, head to Faro and the glorious beaches of the Algarve.

4. Spain – Pint price: £1.97
Spain is never going to lose its special place in the British traveller’s heart – whatever happens to the Euro. Sun, sea and sangria are still the order of the day on the Costas around Malaga and Alicante.

5. Greece – Pint price: £2.36
Soak up the ancient atmosphere of classical Greece in Athens or head to one of the country’s 14,000 paradise islands – some serene and unspoiled and some all geared up to party.

6. Andorra – Pint price: £4
This is a great spot for cheap snowsports in the winter, and hiking and biking in the summer – not to mention all that wonderful tax-free shopping. Head to the main city of Andorra La Vella for bargains aplenty and the stylish glass spires of the luxurious Caldea spa. OK, so a pint will set you back four quid, but you’ll make it back on tax-free treats – including alcohol! Get there via Barcelona or Toulouse.
