Orange travel partner Kayak gathers together the best deals from more than 400 travel websites – providing prices for hundreds of airlines, from budget names such as easyJet to national carriers like British Airways – as well as more than 90,000 hotels and all major car rental companies

And what’s more, they have some seriously nifty tools to make sure you find the best flights, hotels and car hire deals for you. Read on to learn the tricks that’ll make your search simple – and you get the best price.

Fare Buzz

Kayak Fare Buzz is a gift for travellers without fixed plans. Fancy a European city break in the next few weekends? No problem. A trip to the Caribbean in March? Fare Buzz will show you all the best deals.

Fare Buzz works by collating the results of thousands of searches made by other travellers every day. It’s not guaranteed that the prices you find will still be available when you reach the booking website, but these are real deals other people have found recently.

You can do a Fare Buzz search for a single destination – click the “lowest fare” button – or get the top 25 results for regions, sorted by lowest price.

Use the left-hand drop-down menu to find the cheapest flights in a given month, on upcoming weekends – or at any time in the future. Try it out here.

Have you ever found a great deal but by the time you’ve checked with your friends or family the price has gone up? Well, no more. With Kayak’s share results tool you can invite your friends to view the same search page as you in real time - wherever they are in the world.

To try it out, use our Flights search as normal then click on the share results icon and enter your companion’s email address and they’ll be invited to join your search via email. You can then search as a team and snap up the bargains when you see them. Sorted!
