What's a MAC code?It's a code that lets you switch from one broadband provider to another without losing connection.
How do I switch from another broadband provider?
If you're out of contract with your provider you can ask for a MAC code. If you're still in contract you might be able to pay to end your contract and get your MAC code. Just enter the code when you join online and your broadband connection will be switched up to 10 working days later with no loss of service. If your provider won't give you a MAC code you may need to cancel the service before joining us.
When will my existing broadband service switch to Orange?
It could take up to 10 working days to transfer your service. Your broadband will be switched with no loss of service.
How will I actually change my connection set-up?
You'll receive an installation CD with your modem which will automatically set up your broadband connection. If you want to keep using your existing modem, you'll need to change your username and password in your modem and computer. If you're not sure how to change it, please refer to the manufacturer's set-up guide.
