Player of the year

Brett Hodgson (pictured left) won the Man of Steel Award at the prestigious end-of-season Super League bash after guiding Huddersfield Giants to third in the table. But the real star of the season was favourite Adrian Morley, part of a three-man shortlist that also included James Graham. Morley has suffered with disciplinary problems in the past, but he was back to his best for Warrington Wolves to earn a lucrative new contract.
