Tottenham are one tie from Wembley after a Carling Cup quarter-final victory over Watford.

Tamas Priskin gave Watford an early lead at Vicarage Road before Roman Pavlyuchenko netted from the penalty spot.

Harry Redknapp brought on Darren Bent as a substitute to score the winner with 14 minutes remaining.

Meanwhile, Carlos Tevez bagged four goals as Manchester United beat Blackburn to book a place in the last four.

There was an element of doubt over Tevez's opener as he challenged with Aaron Mokoena for Ryan Giggs' far post corner.

But there was no debate over the other three, with Nani also on the scoresheet against a poor Blackburn side whose manager Paul Ince was already under pressure before this defeat.
