Time to pick your team
The Uefa investigation is swift and predictable. Krystatos is banned from Greece's next three internationals. It's a huge blow but one he has to take on the chin – in the same way his opponent received the phlegm projectile.
You decide, though, that Greece's problem is just that. Brunton should not suffer for this, especially in such a big game.
You therefore give him every chance to prove himself worthy of a place in the team.
Strangely, though, Krystatos is not his usual self in training. The headlines, ban and public recriminations have hit this sensitive man hard.
There are other competitors for the withdrawn striker's role, so the option is there to drop him and play Jimmy Joo Joo if you feel he can't get over this setback.
Of course, you could rely on Krystatos to use the biggest stage of all to prove that he is a wonderful talent, and not an idiot.
