Victory for Manchester United over Liverpool followed by Chelsea's come-from-behind win against Arsenal has handed the Red Devils a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

The main talking point of United's 3-0 victory was the red card handed out to Javier Mascherano. He received his second yellow for dissent after an earlier foul on Paul Scholes.

Didier Drogba inspired Chelsea to victory with a late brace after Bakary Sagna headed Arsenal in front.
