Due to inflation, which directly affects the costs of running our business, we've had to re-evaluate our prices and introduce an increase from 10 April 2013.

All other charges outside your allowance, such as call costs, texts and bundles, stay the same.

Use our price calculator to find out what your monthly price plan will be from 10 April this year.

There's nothing you need to do, but you can read more about the changes here.

We know that price rises are never great news, but we're still committed to giving you the best service on the UK's biggest network. And don't forget, you'll still enjoy benefits like 2 for 1 cinema tickets every Wednesday.

Due to inflation, which directly affects the costs of running our business, we've had to re-evaluate our prices and introduce an increase from 10 April 2013.

We've used the Retail Price Index (RPI) which is currently at 3.3%. This is a measure of the increase in prices for consumers and businesses on average across the country over the last 12 months.

The increase is calculated on the price of your monthly plan alone. All other charges outside your allowance, such as call costs, texts and bundles, stay the same.

Your monthly price plan will be updated to include the 3.3% price increase.

Yes. If you wish to cancel your contract, you'll need to pay any cancellation charges that may apply.

You'll find details in Clause 4.3.1 of the terms and conditions you received when you joined or upgraded. You can review our network terms and conditions here.

Consumer pay monthly customers who joined Orange prior to 1 February 2013 will see an increase in the cost of their monthly plan by 3.3% from 10 April 2013. Customers on our 30 day SIM Only, Mobile Broadband, The Works and our latest Animal consumer plans (introduced 1 February 2013) will not be affected.

The majority of our customers are affected by this change. However, our latest Animal plans and The Works, which launched 1 February 2013 are not affected.

If you have joined or upgraded since 2nd December 2012 on one of our consumer plans the change will be delayed for 6 months. This means you'll see a credit on your bill for 6 months, starting with your first bill on or after 10 April.

If you joined or upgraded on or after 1 February 2013 onto the latest version of The Works plan or one of our Animal plans, you will not be affected by the price change.

If you would like to upgrade onto the latest Animal plans or The Works (available since 1 February 2013) you will not be affected by the price change.

We're introducing a new option to 'Fix Your Monthly Plan' from 50p a month. It means you won't be affected by the price changes in April, and you'll have the certainty that you'll pay the same price for your current monthly plan for the duration of your contract, even if there are price changes in the future.

It's available from 10th April and can be added to any plan at any point in your contract by calling 150 from your Orange phone. There's a 12 month minimum term and after that, you can remove the option at any time.

If the price of your plan today is up to £14.99, the extra cost to fix your plan is 50p.

For plans £15.00-£24.99 it costs £1.00; plans £25-£34.99 it costs £1.50; for plans of £35 or more it's £2.00.

We're introducing a new option to fix the monthly price of your plan. Click here for more information.

As a business customer this increase will not apply to you. If you're on a consumer plan, you will see the higher price on your bill but a credit to remove its effect.
