George Michael denies car charge
|
The singer was not present at Brent Magistrates Court as his lawyer Keima Payton said Michael would be pleading not guilty.
Michael was picked up by police on September 30 last year after worried motorists dialled 999 saying his Mercedes was causing an obstruction at traffic lights in Cricklewood, north London.
He was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive and for possession of what was believed to be cannabis.
The singer was later taken to hospital before being cautioned by police.
But he was then charged with being unfit to drive just before Christmas.
