Echo Beach / Moving Wallpaper
Who's who? Moving Wallpaper
Ben Miller plays Jonathan Pope
Moving Wallpaper is dominated by outrageous, arrogant and brilliant producer Jonathan Pope. And he'd better deliver the goods: the head of drama at ITV is dying for an excuse to fire him.
Ben says: "It's the best part I've ever had. He is based on few producers I know and 'love' – he doesn’t regard it as his job to be polite to people, he says whatever he wants. As for the appeal, I think people will like the shows because they want to peek behind the curtain."
Susie Amy plays Suzie Amy
The ex-Footballers Wives star appears as a version of herself, a non-speaking extra desperate for an acting break. In the first episode of Moving Wallpaper, she makes Jonathan Pope a very tempting, very rude offer… and sure enough, she's got a line in the next Echo Beach!
Susie says: "There are not many roles on British TV like this – I thought it was hilarious. You can't take yourself too seriously. And I am sure that people will know it’s not seriously me. I've never been that desperate for a part!
