Hell's Kitchen: Meet the contestants
Jim Davidson

Jim Davidson
Remind me?
"Comedian" Jim is perhaps best remembered for presenting snooker-based game show Big Break and Saturday-night classic The Generation Game. In recent years, Jim has worked tirelessly to raise the profile of adult pantomime - starring in sell-out productions such as Boobs in the Wood and Sinderella.

Why Hell's Kitchen? Jim was persuaded to take part in the show by his youngest children, 18-year-old Charlie and 13-year-old Elsie. Apparently, they told him: "Do it, Dad - you'll be famous again." Yeah, thanks for that, kids.

Incidentally... According to a story published in The Sun last December, Jim was embarrassed by a 15-year-old boy scout who heckled his panto performance in Dick Whittington in Dartford, Kent. Apparently, when Jim delivered the scripted line, "Do you know who I am?", the scout loudly replied, "Yes - you're a f***ing w***er!" Tsk - kids nowadays, eh?
