Amanda’ll Fix It!

Now then, now then… what have we here? It seems the classic “making dreams come true” format of Jim’ll Fix It is set to be revived – with Amanda Holden at the helm.
Sadly, it seems she won’t be following Sir Jimmy Savile's example and donning a silver shell suit and chain-smoking big fat Cuban cigars while wittering on about “The Duchess.” But she will be setting up a whole host of once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the Great British Public.
The Wish List is being made by Ant and Dec’s production company for ITV, initially going out as a pilot on a Saturday night later in the year. A TV insider said “Think Jim’ll Fix It meets Surprise Surprise. Each week Amanda will give people the chance to live out their dreams on TV.
“And let’s face it; Amanda is bound to get choked up on cue — just like she does on Britain’s Got Talent.
“If you’ve ever wanted to sing with Take That or do a base jump into the Grand Canyon, she could make it happen.”
Or do a base jump on to Take That, presumably? Where do we sign up?
