The McQueens decide to have a naming ceremony for baby Max, but sparks fly when Jacqui goes against Tony’s wishes by inviting Niall – fully aware of the part in played in big Max’s death. Meanwhile, Tina and Dom are dreading the ceremony, knowing they’ll have to put on a brave face in front of the rest of the family. Indeed, the strain proves so much for Tina, she decides to take the dramatic step of revealing that Russ is her baby’s father.
The party descends into chaos as Russ arrives with divorce papers for Mercedes, but there’s worse to come when Tony sees the present the family have all clubbed together to buy baby Max – his first sovereign ring. Classy.
Elsewhere, Amy finally puts her fears to one side and carries out a pregnancy test. Ste’s thrilled to discover he’s going to be a dad for the second time – but sadly the celebrations are short-lived. When Ste’s rumbled by Justin for stealing a karaoke machine, the animal explodes in rage and rains blow after blow on his terrified girlfriend.
Meanwhile Frankie’s life doesn’t get any easier when the debt collector arrives, informing her that he still wants the £230,000 Jack owed – and John Paul pops the question to a gobsmacked Kieron.
