Hmmm, how do we put this? Probably best just to get it out all at once. Ready? Here we go: TV presenter Richard Madeley has admitted he doesn’t wear pants.
We hope that didn’t traumatise you too much. But why on earth not, Richard? Well apparently it’s because he finds underwear “incredibly hot” and so forsakes them in favour of “the freedom and feel of air”.
The free-hanging weirdo’s wife Judy Finnigan confirmed the story, saying: “Richard’s undercarriage flaps freely.” She also warned fans to be careful if they planned on imitating her husband, pointing out that crossing your legs too quickly while unsupported means “you risk squeezing something”.
In other news in briefs, Jamie Oliver has revealed how a recent trip to the Continent saw him inadvertently return home with a stranger’s underwear.
“After the trip I found a woman’s knickers in my bag,” said the Tom Jones of the culinary world. “That was a real surprise when I got back home. She was the hostess on the train and quite flirtatious. It makes sense as she was the only one with access to my bag. She must have returned to England commando, because I had her undies.”
But what did his lovely wife Jools think of all this? “I keep telling her I don’t fancy anyone else but she doesn’t believe me,” he protested. “I don’t know what’s up with me – maybe low testosterone. I’m very happy with Jools… She’s more than enough to put up with!”
And if that double whammy doesn’t win him Backhanded Compliment of the Year award, we don’t know what will…
