Need to know: He founded the Exeter University debating society and claims never to have lost an argument.

Name: Jenny Celerier FIRED
Age: 36
About her: She raised a child single-handedly while putting herself through university and working her way up the ladder. She now manages a team of 16 people and claims she will "annihilate anyone when it comes to competition", which sounds quite scary.
Need to know: When she was young, Jenny once dug up the flowers from her parents’ garden and sold them. That’s what budding entrepreneurs do, see?
She says: “If you are sitting on the fence you are taking up too much space."

Name: Nicholas De Lacy Brown FIRED
Age: 24
About him: He’s a brainy barrister, artist and property developer with the gurning self-belief of a championship wrestler.
Need to know: Nicholas took his grandmother’s name, De Lacy, to make himself look more sophisticated. Now everyone knows this, it’s just made him look a bit silly.
He says: "From the moment I was born I knew I was destined for great things."

Age: 25
About her: A life-long entrepreneur, Sara is a trained lawyer who helped save her family car business. Score!
Need to know: She once drove from Leicester to Mumbai in two weeks. Presumably she picked up a speeding ticket or two along the way, though.
She says: "I was born into a business family, it's in my blood. I think I will win."
