Thursday 6 September: Kitchen nightmare
For once, Gordon Ramsay actually has something worthwhile to shout and swear about. He’s just revealed that he was rushed to hospital after a kitchen accident involving a very hot stove and his most precious of man parts.
At the GQ Men of the Year Awards this week to pick up his gong for Best Chef, the F-Word star recalled the painful scene: “The other day I was standing too close to the hob when I was cooking. I was wearing cotton trousers and underneath I was going commando. Then suddenly I felt this searing heat – my b***s were burning... I’m in absolute agony. You wouldn’t believe how much this hurts.”
We wouldn’t, no – but Jamie Oliver would. He suffered a similar intimate injury in 2004 when he cooked a Valentine’s Day dinner for his wife Jules in the buff.
Someone buy these men some Y-fronts, for pity’s sake!
