Suzanne is ice queen

Actress and singer Suzanne Shaw has glided to victory in Dancing on Ice.

The ex-Hear'Say star defied the bookies when viewers of the ITV celebrity skate-off voted her the winner ahead of favourite Chris Fountain.

Suzanne never looked back after getting the highest mark of the series with her first two routines, receiving a perfect 6.0 score from all five judges.

Ex-Coronation Street actress Zaraah Abrahams was voted off to leave just Suzanne and Chris to dance the Bolero, the routine made famous by Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

The public vote gave Suzanne her second reality TV crown after beating off more than 4,000 other hopefuls to join Hear'Say after ITV's Popstars in 2001.

She said she had enjoyed 'every second' of the ice contest and thanked dance partner Matt Evers.
