With Katie Holmes and Posh creating a fashion frenzy last week as the new faces of Miu Miu and Armani respectively, stars are now playing a new role in the noughties: starring in a hot designer’s advert is a must-have in terms of the A-list CV.

But it’s not just the hip, hot and fame-hungry stars creating supersized ad campaigns to match their egos. This season sees the fashion world turn back the clocks to put the most bankable supermodels of the ‘90s back on the billboards.

So this week we turn our attention to the old and new pin-up girls who really do know how to strike a pose.
