Unless you’ve spent most of the day with your head stuck down the toilet, you’ll be aware that Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne Rooney caught us on the hop and got hitched in Italy this morning. The Sun reckons they said “I Roo”, though here at Orange we doubt the legality of such a vow.

It’s been a heady few years since the ever-romantic Wayne popped the question on the forecourt of a BP garage. We’ll have to wait for OK! to spill the diamond-encrusted beans on the big day due to the happy couple’s £2.5m deal with the magazine - but we do know that guests were treated to a four-course slap-up meal, washed down with unlimited champers and followed by a £50,000 firework display. That’s a lot of sparklers.

So, to honour the happy couple, we decided to look back at some of the best moments of Wayne and one Coleen Mary McLoughlin – now Mrs Coleen Rooney. Hooray!
