Cheryl ditches her wedding ring

Naughty footballer Ashley Cole must be feeling sick as a parrot today - and not for the first time. (Let's hope he doesn't throw up on any strange ladies' beds again, eh?)
So what's happened? Well, heartbroken wife Cheryl Cole has been spotted partying in Los Angeles - minus her wedding ring. The gorgeous star hit Hollywood's Villa nightclub with Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts - and funnily enough, the trio attracted plenty of male attention throughout the night.
However, although Cheryl was all smiles on her evening out, we can't help noticing she seems to have lost a lot of weight since news broke of her husband's extra-marital shenanigans three weeks ago.
Prior to her LA trip, Mrs C was on a girls-only holiday in Thailand - but according to the News of the World, she refused to eat, and chain-smoked throughout the trip. She was also overheard saying, "How can I trust my fella again?"
Still, the whole sorry mess may get sorted out this week - as Cheryl's set to fly home to the UK for an appearance at Wednesday's Brit Awards. The tabloids are also gleefully predicting a "marriage showdown" - but some insiders say she's not ready to face Ashley yet, and will be staying with relatives rather than returning to the couple's Surrey mansion.
"A lot of people think she's crazy to step straight back into the glare of publicity at the Brits," a source tells The People. "But she wants to prove she can do without Ashley and is strong enough to carry on with her life and career. The other girls will be supporting her and she's confident she'll get through it."
