Ramsay devoted to rescuing marriage

Celebrity egg-cracker Gordon Ramsay has pledged to save his marriage to wife Tana, following claims by a tabloid that he’s been having a secret seven-year affair.
He insists he’s only ever met 38-year-old Sarah Symonds four times in his life and barely knows her. The father-of-four has told friends he’s devastated to have burdened his wife of 12 years with this turmoil.
The Michelin-starred megachef said: “I’m so sorry I’ve put her through this. She doesn’t deserve it.”
Gordon is said to have had a long heart-to-heart with Tana at their home in South London.
A friend told the Daily Mirror: “Gordon was honest with Tana. It was the least he could do in light of all that’s happened.”
The friend continued: “He is so remorseful over putting her and the kids through such an ordeal. He’s also very angry. He says a lot of it is complete b******s.”
The couple both agreed they’re not going to let lurid rumours sabotage their marriage, and Tana’s parents, Chris and Greta Hutcheson, are giving moral support to the couple.
It’s likely Sarah will be making more allegations over the coming days. Current claims involve use of a legal sex drug – bought from a Soho sex shop – in hotel rompathons. Sarah also said they regularly had phone sex, with some calls lasting up to an hour at a time.
She claims the affair started after she met him in a nightclub. Sarah, an ex-girlfriend of shamed Tory peer and novelist Jeffrey Archer, is said to be besotted with Gordon.
A source said: “She fell for him in a big way following their first meeting. Not long after, she reinvented herself.
“She seems to think her transformation makes her more alluring to men.”
