Peter Andre has revealed he is staying off sex as a sign of respect to his estranged wife Katie Price. We should think so too, young man!
The father-of-two says he will stay celibate until his divorce from Jordan is finalised and he plans to put his energy into getting into shape. And to prove it, he was spotted this week taking delivery of some flash new gym equipment at his home in Brighton.
He told The Sun: "I'm going to steer clear of women for over two months. No sex for me. It's not to do with lawyers – I just want to do the honourable thing by Kate. I don't think it would be right to have a sexual relationship until everything is sorted and we move on."
But are his claims just attempts to dampen the gossip going round about Pete and Chantelle Houghton? As we reported yesterday, the Celebrity Big Brother winner was invited to the birthday party of Pete and Jordan’s daughter Princess Tiaamii and has been spotted loitering in the ‘Insania’ singer’s vicinity several times in the last few weeks.
Writing in his column for New magazine, Pete said he met Chantelle at a posh dinner do earlier in the week and called her “a really lovely girl, a real sweetheart”.
He added: “It’s funny, because she’s exactly how I expected her to be after seeing her on TV and reading interviews she’s done. We had such a great night and I think she’s looking great at the moment.”
