Sarah Jessica Parker shows off her twins

Hollywood stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have shown off their adorable new surrogate twins for the first time today. The photo was taken at the couple’s New York apartment, and shows one-week-old babies Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge being cradled lovingly in their parents’ arms as six-year-old brother James Wilkie looks on adoringly.
The twins were born to surrogate mother Michelle Ross last Monday, with Marion weighing in at 5lb 11oz and Tabitha weighing 6lb. SJP, 44, and her actor husband Matthew, 47, were also believed to be on hand at the East Ohio Regional Hospital for the birth, although the hospital has not confirmed this.
“Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are delighted to announce the healthy arrival of their two daughters,” a spokesperson for the couple told Access Hollywood last week. “Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker's side. The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon.”
The Sex and the City star had previously expressed concern for the safety of her kids and their surrogate mum after Michelle was identified by the media. “The most unsavoury things have been done,” raged the star. “She’s had her phone hacked, her personal computer information hacked, she’s had threats against her and true harassment… She’s had friends threatened and family threatened and she’s had family of friends threatened.”
Let’s hope all that harassment is behind them and they can settle down to enjoy family life.
