Kate destroys Jamie’s laptop (and new album)

All’s fair in love and war, so they say. But presumably that phrase was invented before laptops, digitised albums and Kate Moss came along.
What are we on about? Well apparently a spat between the supermodel and her rockstar boyfriend Jamie Hince, who’s one half of US indie two-piece The Kills, ended with Kate flinging Jamie’s laptop through the air into a nearby swimming pool.
"Kate and Jamie were having a romantic weekend in her countryside pad when things spiralled out of control,” said a source. “They started bickering out of nowhere and the row quickly escalated. She stalked off outside and, before he had a chance to react, Kate grabbed his bag and hurled it into the pool. Unfortunately it contained his laptop, BlackBerry and personal diary.”
Oh, did we not mention? Apparently the computer had six new Kills songs on it, which weren’t backed up. Oops.
"Jamie was speechless,” added the source. “He waded into the water to fish the bag out, and tried to resuscitate the laptop, removing the hard drive and shoving it into an airing cupboard. He whacked the BlackBerry under the hairdryer and left his diary out to dry over a radiator."
"Jamie was absolutely livid and kept yelling, 'Why would you do such a f***ing stupid thing?! You're acting like a fishwife!'”
Luckily the pair managed to resolve things. Said the source: “After much grovelling from Kate, they kissed and made up - and even saw the funny side of it. Kate's buying him a new computer."
Will she be writing him some new songs too?
