Paris comforts injured "Oompa-Loompa"

It probably won't surprise you to learn that Paris Hilton has been out partying a lot over the past few days. In fact, US gossip columns are full of her various antics - including reportedly getting into the wrong car at the end of an evening and possibly rekindling her romance with ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos. Yeah, whatever...
Now, we were perfectly happy to give these stories a wide berth: we've had more than enough of Paris this year, thank you very much. But then the hotel heiress managed to grab our undivided attention by rushing to the aid of an injured man in an Oompa-Loompa costume.
You see, Ms Hilton was among the party-goers at Miami's Cameo nightclub, where performance troupe Beacher's Madhouse were strutting their stuff on stage - which involved three of them dressing up as Oompa-Loompas with orange make-up and green hair.
Suddenly, the excitement got too much and a bunch of people rushed the stage. In the resulting chaos, one performer - Robin Sherwood, who happens to be a friend of Paris's - suffered a badly cut leg.
A horrified Paris ran to her pal's side and stayed with him until an ambulance turned up. "She was great," says a Cameo source. "She was there until he was turned over to the medical technicians."
To everyone's relief, it sounds like Robin is going to pull through: he was later released from hospital after receiving stitches. Phew!
