Kerry slurs her way through TV interview

Reality TV star Kerry Katona has shocked viewers by making an erratic appearance on a morning television show.
The former Atomic Kitten star slurred her words and frequently looked around the studio calling for her husband Mark Croft as she was interviewed by presenters Philip Schofield and Fern Britton on ITV's This Morning.
At one point, Katona, 28, was asked by Schofield: 'You don't seem right to me, you've got the body sorted but your speech is a bit slurred, how are you feeling?'
Katona glanced off camera and seemed shocked as she asked: 'Is it?' She then admitted her speech may be slurred but said it was because she was taking prescription drugs.
She said: 'That's because I'm on medication at night-time.' Looking amongst the crew to find her husband she said: 'I had some last night, didn't I Mark?'.
Schofield said he was only asking her 'what people watching at home would be thinking' and that producers were telling him via his earpiece that they were already receiving calls about her behaviour.
Britton also asked the star about recent claims in a magazine that she had been drinking while on holiday.
Katona responded: 'I don't understand what you're trying to say?' To which Britton answered: 'Have you got rid of one addiction by replacing it with another? Is it alcohol?'
A smiling but obviously rattled Katona answered: 'No, not at all. I'm on holiday in Spain and I'm allowed to have a drink, aren't I?'
Both Britton and Schofield assured her they were not insinuating she had done anything wrong, to which she replied: 'Oh right, because I thought you were trying to find out if I'm an alcoholic now.'
The singer was on the show promoting her reality show Whole Again which documents the latest chapter in her life, amidst rumours of marriage difficulties and more cosmetic surgery.
