Wayne and Coleen's baby arrives

Wayne and Coleen Rooney have today welcomed their first baby to the world. Kai Wayne Rooney was born at Liverpool Women's Hospital at 2.20pm, nine days overdue. He weighed in at 8lb 2oz.
Manchester United striker Wayne had fuelled speculation that the baby’s arrival was imminent by skipping a training session earlier today.
A spokesman for the couple said: "Mother and baby are both absolutely fine. Wayne and Coleen are thrilled with the wonderful addition to their family life."
Wayne held Coleen's hand throughout the delivery and was in tears when she handed over the baby. "Wayne was a star with Coleen. He didn't leave her side from the moment she came into the hospital," said a source.
"When Col gave birth, Wayne's eyes welled up. As soon as he was handed the baby, the tears began. He was over the moon and was saying 'I can't believe it.'"
