Kimberley ‘pretends to be Beyoncé’

Bubbly Girls Aloud beauty Kimberley Walsh has revealed the secret behind her ultra-confident stage persona – she’s busy pretending to be a pop star.
Confused? Well, the 27-year-old Bradford babe suffers from horrific stage fright, and gets over it by pretending she’s ‘Bootylicious’ singer Beyoncé.
Making the shock confession on The World’s Greatest Popstars, a new 4Music show, the star said: “My alter ego is Beyoncé really. In my head, sometimes I think I actually am her.”
Of course, all this begs the question of whether Kimberley’s bandmates use the same tactics on stage. Which popster Cheryl Cole attempts to emulate when she steps out on tour remains a mystery, although our money’s firmly on Milli Vanilli.
It’s not the first time Kimberley’s gushed forth about her love of the ex-Destiny’s Child singer. “If I could be anyone else I'd be Beyoncé,” she told the Sunday Express last year.
“She's got it all. Great figure, gorgeous face and that voice. She comes across as a really nice person, too, which makes her just about perfect.”
