Becks treats the Spice Girls
How thoughtful! Not only did David Beckham make a detour on his way home from New Zealand so he could surprise his wife at work - but he also brought along presents for all her colleagues, too.
As we told you yesterday, Becks popped in to see the Spice Girls in Vancouver on the opening night of their world tour. And because it would have been downright rude to turn up empty-handed, he presented each of the girls with a £10,000 diamond-encrusted bracelet. Bet he didn't buy those at Tesco.
"He knows I'm really nervous about him seeing me back on stage, so he bought us all these bracelets for good luck," wife Victoria gushed to the Daily Mirror. "It's like the old days. David spent a lot of time around the girls when we first got together - it's as though he married all of us." Hmmm...
And it seems even a painful injury couldn't keep Becks away from his five wives. "I've got a broken rib at the moment but I've had them before and nothing would have stopped me coming," he revealed.
But at least he can go home and rest now, right? Wrong! "I'm on the road with them for three months and can't wait," he said - possibly through gritted teeth. "When you see them together it's quite frightening - as though they've never been apart."
Well, they do say friendship never ends...
