Lindsay's birthday bash cancelled

Put your party dress away: Lindsay Lohan has cancelled her birthday celebrations.
The star, who turns 22 on 2 July, has reportedly put a halt to the party because she couldn't commit to a date. The real reason, however, is apparently that she couldn't get a company to sponsor a Moroccan-themed party, reports News.com.au.
Her "people" started a website asking for sponsorship for the bash – a move that screams desperation. "Sponsors will have a unique branding opportunity at an internationally media-worthy event", the website claims.
The celebrations were due to take place at a five-bedroom Malibu home, starting in the early afternoon with Lindsay and 10 friends having spa treatments. "Upon nightfall an intimate group of 75 VIP guests will gather for dinner, performances and most importantly to help Lindsay blow out the candles on her 22nd birthday cake," the website continues.
It's not surprising Miss Lohan has failed to drum up much interest – she hasn't exactly got the best reputation in Hollywood, and she visited rehab three times last year. The actress now claims she is too busy for the bash and says she will be "in production on a movie" and "can't commit to a specific date".
Lindsay also failed to celebrate her 21st birthday thanks to being in rehab – let's hope next year she finally gets the party she wants.
