Sienna wises up

After a painful break-up with Rhys Ifans – well, it was painful for him – and all that business with married actor Balthazar Getty last year, Sienna Miller is sorting her love-life out, thanks to a good old-fashioned talking to from a friend.

Sienna said of her friend, in the latest issue of US Vogue magazine: "She took me to lunch – funnily enough to a restaurant called Balthazar, which I thought was hilarious, but she never commented on the irony of that.

"She said, 'You've been through hell and you need to talk about it with someone.' I got to the point where I was doing things that I didn't necessarily think I was capable of as a person. And I wanted to be conscious of my actions.

"I think I was really naïve and trusting, and thinking that if you are true to yourself, that's enough, that's the best way to be. But actually, it's important to become more conscious."

So being true to yourself isn’t enough? Does this mean all those Hollywood movies and Britain’s Got Talent judges were lying to us?

The Factory Girl star also spoke about her split from Jude Law, calling it “a very pivotal time in my life”.

She added: “I talked about him in an interview not long ago, saying that I still love him, and he was like, 'Please stop talking about it.'”

She’s clearly taken Jude’s plea on board…
