Britney denies pregnancy
What with her busy life of driving around a lot and covering her head with blankets, surely the last thing Britney Spears needs is another baby. Thankfully, despite rumours flying around like great big flying things, La Spears has one word for the story that she’s pregnant with her third child: “Bulls***”.
Initially, a story from In Touch Weekly claimed that Britney had emailed friends, saying, “Yes, I am pregnant and I am shocked, almost four weeks to be exact. I don't really know if I'm happy or sad. I am happy I guess. I saw the ultrasound and it was really kewl."
Kewl? Such disrespect for the conventions of spelling doesn’t sound like our Britney. The mag added that music producer and occasional Spears lover JR Rotem confirmed that things were indeed “kewl” and that he was the father.
However, when Britney heard the news on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show as she drove home from a video shoot, she got her buddy Sam Lufti to text in.
"It's B.S, I don't know who made it up,” he wrote. “J.R. doesn't even know what's up. It's fake. Completely fake. We just wrapped her video. Going home to sleep."
Good idea – get some rest in before the noisy baby arrives. Oh, wait...
