Mercy gets a taste of luxury

Madonna's adopted daughter is getting her first taste of her new luxury lifestyle. Mercy, four, will later move into the singer's luxury lodge in Malawi where she will be joined by her own nanny and nurse flown in from the US.
Madonna got the news she was waiting for last week when she was told that her adoption of the child was allowed to go ahead. For the past two months she has lived at charity Raising Malawi the charity funded by the star.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "Her life will now change beyond recognition. The next few months will be very strange but Madonna has a tight team around her to ensure that the transition is as smooth and loving as possible."
Madonna's lawyer Alan Chinula is sorting the paperwork so Mercy can move to the US as soon as possible. When all is completed it is thought she'll fly by private jet to her new home in New York. Mercy's dad James Kambewa says he will no longer fight to get his daughter back.
James walked out on Mercy's mother Mwandida before she died in childbirth. He said: "I am asking Madonna to make sure that, while the child is growing, she must be informed of me as her biological father ... she really must know that while she is far away her father is still alive."
