Chantelle's divorce battle
Oh dear! It seems Chantelle and Preston's divorce proceedings have taken a rather nasty turn - because the Ordinary Boys frontman is demanding half of his estranged wife's earnings since they broke up. As you can't fail to have noticed, Chantelle has cashed in on her recent heartache by granting exclusive interviews to various celebrity magazines.
"Preston claims that without him and their marriage she wouldn't have had anything to talk about," says a source. "But she thinks that's ridiculous and he's being completely unreasonable. She can't believe how bitter he's being. Their marriage was miserable - now the divorce is going to be just as bad." Mind you, divorces are rarely a barrel of laughs, are they? Chantelle's spokesman tells the newspaper: "All divorces have their problems but she is confident she can work things out with Preston."
In the meantime, the Celebrity Big Brother winner may find some comfort in claims she's better in bed than Big Brother 7's Nikki Grahame. Well, that's according to electrician Chris Neal, who's allegedly "bedded" them both (not at the same time, we hasten to add). "Nikki was fun but Chantelle was better," he told the News of the World - before going on to describe how he first made his move on Preston's ex during a night out with Nikki. "Despite her being there, I just couldn't take my eyes off Chantelle," he recalls. "I gave her a little pinch on the bum and she responded positively." Gosh - what a charmer!
Apparently, things became fairly serious between Chris and Chantelle - but she ended the relationship shortly after it became public. "She didn't want it to all come out," Chris explains. Well, she'll be delighted with you now, won't she mate? Actually, if Chantelle's expected to give Preston half the money she made from talking about their marriage, surely Chris should split his News of the World fee three ways with Nikki and Chantelle? All's fair in love and war, after all...
