Madge related to Camilla

Ever noticed the striking resemblance between Prince Charles’s missus and Madonna? You haven’t? OK, how about Camilla and the delightful Angelina Jolie then? No?
Well, those budding, egg-headed genealogists over at Daily Star towers have revealed that all three are actually related. No, no – Angelina isn’t the secret lovechild of Camilla Parker-Bowles and Prince Charles from a night of post-polo passion back in the day – it actually goes back a bit further than that.
The link in the chain is one Zacharie Coutier, a Frenchman who upped sticks and moved to Canada back in 1634. The connections came to light following the release recently of some old Canadian archives.
“The fact that Camilla and Madonna are related highlights the unpredictable and entertaining nature of family history research,” said Simon Harper of ancestory.co.uk, presumably with pound signs flashing in his eyes.
Experts in the field also reckon there’s one surefire way to figure out who’s descended from the same lineage – the shape of the hooter. Sure enough, looking at Camilla, Angelina and Madge lined up in a row, the nasal resemblance is pretty striking.
Still, never mind all that – it all throws up a number of important questions. Is Madonna now second in line to the throne? Is Brad Pitt the future King of England? We need answers!
