Friday 5 October: Daniel goes out with a bang
Ah, here's a nice, cheery story... Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe may only be 12 - sorry, 18 - years old, but he's already given careful consideration to what he wants done with his remains when he finally pops his clogs. And, as The Sun so eloquently puts it, he's envisaging "a spellbinding end worthy of a wizard."
"I'd like my ashes to be fired out of a cannon with, 'Let him RIP' written on the urn," he tells GQ magazine in a somewhat morbid new interview. "I saw it on TV once - brilliant!" Hang on - what TV programme was that exactly? Are you sure you didn't dream it, Daniel?
In the meantime, the teen heartthrob is determined to enjoy the 70-or-so years he has left before his grief-stricken loved ones are forced to shoot him into space. Indeed, he's hoping to meet lots more celebrities - and hopefully indulge in a star romance or two. "I'm slightly in love with Scarlett Johansson," he confesses. "She's stunning, brilliant and incredibly sexy. But most of my posters in my room are of bands, so my pin-up is Pete Doherty, which is slightly unorthodox."
On the contrary, we've heard Pete had lots of Harry Potter posters decorating the walls of his room in rehab. Or was that Harry Connick Jr? We forget now...
