Kate's cases go missing
|
It seems the baggage chaos at Heathrow's new Terminal 5 is striking all our favourite supermodels. Only last week Naomi Campbell landed herself in hot water when she was arrested at the airport for getting into an argument with British Airways staff over a missing bag – and now Kate Moss is the latest celebrity victim.
However, If you are one of thousands of travellers who lost their luggage look away now: this story might not make you happy. According to imdb.com, the star has received an instant compensation payment of £10,000 from BA after they lost her cases – I told you you'd be mad…
The star flew to Los Angeles with her new range of clobber for Topshop. While in La-La Land she'd planned to do a photoshoot for the company, so she was less than impressed when her eight - yes eight – suitcases failed to show.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: "Kate was caught up in the appalling scenes at T5 and just like thousands of other people experienced first hand the incompetence of BA. But unlike the rest of us, BA staff were fawning all over her. They paid £10,000 right away."
Six of Kate's cases have since been found and returned to her. I'm sure thousands of other people aren't so lucky. I wonder if she’s going to give back three quarters of the compensation…
