Cheryl named 'most inspirational'
|
Cheryl Cole is definitely on the up. Not only is her stint as an X Factor judge going well, but she's also recently topped the album and singles charts with Girls Aloud.
So it's really no wonder shes topped a poll of Britain's most inspirational women.
Cheryl beat the likes of Harry Potter author JK Rowling and the Queen to the accolade, awarded by Mecca Bingo.
It's funny how times have changed. Only last year, our Cheryl topped a list of the worst examples set to British women, following her brush with the law a few years ago.
Sadly it's not all good news for the star: her brother has refused her offer to pay for his rehab.
She offered Andrew Tweedy £30,000 to help him beat drug and alcohol addictions but instead he sold his story to a tabloid for £50,000.
A source told Now magazine: "She's not angry with him, she's angry that the paper gave him £50,000 rather than paying for him to go into rehab.
"He could die if he carries on the way he is, but it torments her that even with all her money there's nothing she can do."
