It's a Big Brother break-up!

Well, as our old granny used to say during the closing credits of Michael Barrymore's My Kind of People: all good things must come to an end... Apparently, Big Brother 8 winner Brian Belo and runner-up Amanda Marchant have called time on their post-reality TV romance.
The reason? The pair realised their relationship was doomed when Amanda refused to move into Brian's house in Basildon - preferring to buy a pad with twin sister Sam in the middle of London instead.
"They had been suffering strains for a number of weeks because they wanted different things," sighs a friend. "Brian finally ended it. Amanda loved dressing up and going to trendy London clubs but Brian wanted to hang out with his mates in Essex. Amanda didn't want to move to Essex and live Brian's life. She wanted them to hang out in central London with other celebrities all the time."
Still, unlike some ex-Big Brother lovers we could mention, Brian and Amanda look set to remain good friends. Indeed, Amanda managed to lure her ex-boyfriend into London's West End on Friday night, so they could attend Dancing on Ice starlet Samantha Mumba's birthday party. Incidentally, other guests who'd made the long journey from Essex included Jade Goody. Sounds brilliant, doesn't it?
