Cross-network Orange Official Club Text Alert Terms and Conditions
By subscribing to the Chelsea FC Official alerts service "the Service", you are deemed to accept and be bound by the following terms and conditions:
The Service is provided by Orange Personal Communications Services Limited ('Orange').
The cost of the service is as follows: 25p per message
Unless Orange advises you otherwise, the information contained within the Service is owned by Orange and/or its licensors. It is protected by copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights.
You agree and accept that the information is for your own personal use and may not be used for commercial purposes, whether revenue generating or not, or distributed commercially.
Should you wish to use all (or any part of) the information for any other purpose, you must first apply in writing to Orange. Failure to do so may lead to legal action being taken against you.
In order to provide the Service it will be necessary for Orange to provide your mobile number to third parties engaged by it to provide the Service. Orange may also provide your number to the club in respect of which you have requested the Service.
Users may unsubscribe to the Service at any time. To unsubscribe please text 'stop' to 87058
Orange will take all reasonable steps to make the Services available to you at all times. The Services are only available within the range of the base stations that make up the network through which you access the Service ("the Network"). We cannot guarantee a continuous fault free service. Please note that: the quality and availability of Services may sometimes be affected by factors outside our control – such as local physical obstructions, atmospheric conditions, other causes of radio interference, features or functionality of your Device, the number of people trying to use the network at the same time, and faults in the Network or other networks to which the Network is connected.
Orange accepts no liability for the, loss, late receipt or non-readability of any part of the Service. The Service, which may be obtained from a large range of sources, is supplied to You on an "as is" basis and Orange does not warrant that the Service is of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose, suitable, reliable, accurate, complete, secure or is free from error.
The Network and the Service may from time to time require upgrading, modification, maintenance or other works. These may result in some or all of the Services becoming temporarily unavailable. In such cases, Orange will use reasonable efforts to keep the period of non-availability to a minimum. However, some interruption may be inevitable.
Orange also reserves the right to suspend the Service if a complaint has been made against you. The complaint will be thoroughly investigated, and Service will remain suspended until we know the results of that investigation. Any complaint you make will similarly be thoroughly investigated
If you use Services from a country outside the UK your use of the Services may be subject to different costs, laws and regulations that apply in that other country. Orange is not liable for your failure to comply with any such laws or regulations.
Under no circumstances will Orange or any of the other parties involved in the provision of the Service, be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in or the provision of the Service. To the extent reasonably practical, Orange agrees to rectify any such problems in the Service which are notified to Orange as soon as Orange reasonably can. If you do notice a fault or error in the Service, please notify the fault to Orange.
Neither Orange nor you will be liable for loss of business, profits, savings, revenue, use or goodwill, or for any loss or corruption of data whether caused to the other party through any breach of these terms and conditions or any matters arising under it. Neither party excludes liability for negligent acts or omissions causing death or personal injury to any person.
These terms and conditions are subject to English law and the jurisdiction of the English courts.
