In April, we decided to have a bit of fun, despite the financial crisis, and poll you guys about the cars you believe should get scrapped. The response was an enthusiastic one, though we're not so sure comments such as "you should scrap all German cars" were appropriate. So you think the Porsche 911 GT3 should be scrapped? No, we very much doubt that.

But as mighty names such as Chrysler and GM struggle in the current economic climate, with GM's Pontiac brand being the most notable victim, you do start to wonder why the recession hasn't claimed some of the visual monstrosities that plague our roads.

Taking into consideration your feedback, and throwing in our own ideas on which cars we'd like to see go to the scrapheap, we've picked out 10 cars we'd like to see permanently disappear from Britain's roads.
