We want to promote responsible behaviour among all our suppliers and business partners, which includes managing the social and environmental impact of our supply chain.
We have integrated ethical, environmental and social criteria into supplier selection and management across Orange. Our ethical sourcing procedures commit us to screening suppliers for their performance in these areas and help ensure that we treat them ethically.
Orange aims to establish long-term supplier relationships and explore corporate responsibility issues with our suppliers. To do this, we’ve developed a global supplier evaluation tool that measures six key performance areas: Quality, Responsiveness, Ethics and Environment, Delivery, Innovation and Cost. 85% of Orange's purchases (by value) are covered by this tool.
We have also established a risk management programme that identifies specific issues suppliers may be facing based around a number of key criteria - sustainable development, and political, social and environmental operations. This allows us to take timely action.
