Button's dream car collection
Jenson Button is undoubtedly the man of the moment in British sport. The Frome Flyer has come from nowhere, following dreary 2007 and 2008 seasons, to win the Formula 1 world title.
Curious to find out which cars Jens has in his garage (and because were a little nosy, especially given the £40m fortune he has amassed in F1), we contacted Brawn GP to find out that Button's current set of wheels is a Mercedes S Class Diesel, and not the Honda NSX, 1956 VW camper van and Civic Type-R and an S2000 that had long been rumoured on the web.
For a racing driver rumoured to be worth so much money, that's a serious lack of wheels in his garage. And now that Button has won the world title, his income (which is around £8m a year) is going to get significant boost from the wave of sponsorship deals that will be coming his way, meaning he can add some more cars to what sounds like a pretty empty garage.
But what kind of cars would suit his driving style? Out on the track, Button has a reputation for being a smooth driver, capable of achieving amazing speeds and excellent steering in the Brawn.
Taking all of this into consideration, we've put together a list of the cars we think Button should consider adding to his empty garage.
